CASILIENT Project under the Danida Green Business Partnership

Agro Eco has officially started the CASILIENT Project under the Danida Green Business Partnership (DGBP), where both Agro Eco and ETG Beyond Beans serve as implementing partners.

The project aims to link climate-smart cocoa production with long-term business value, traceability, and farmer resilience to meet the growing global demand for sustainable chocolate. Through this initiative, over 4,000 farmers will adopt agroforestry and biochar practices to regenerate soils, capture carbon, and strengthen sustainable cocoa supply chains.

As part of the project’s inception activities, Agro Eco facilitated a training for ETG Beyond Beans Coaches, equipping participants with practical facilitation skills to lead participatory, learner-centred sessions, manage group dynamics, and adapt to diverse learner needs across project activities.
