Whittaker’s donate Personal Protection Equipment to cocoa farmers in Ghana to fight Covid -19.
Whitakers’ a chocolate company based in New Zealand has donated nose mask and hand Sanitizers to cocoa farmer cooperatives in Assin Fosu to improve their sanitation in the fight against the COVID-19.
The donation was presented on behalf of the New Zealand company by its partners in Ghana, Agro Eco. The items included; 2000 pieces of nose mask and 2,200 pieces of hand Sanitizers to the Assin North Impact Cooperative Cocoa Farmers Union, Central Region and Asankrangwa Impact Cooperative Cocoa farmers Union in the Western Region of Ghana.

Agro Eco also supported the two beneficiary farmer Cooperatives with training on Occupational health, Safety Measures and Public Health Protocols to assist them in their individual fight against the spread of corona virus.
The Cocoa farmers Cooperatives of Assin foso and Asangragwa expressed their appreciation to the two companies for their assistance.
